Dependency notice¶
If Status Sets isn't installed or isn't enabled, this is all you see: a message explaining why, and a button to open Community Plugins. Every other setting below is hidden until it's resolved.
File and block assignments¶
One card per existing assignment, showing its target and scope (Whole file / Block, with or without subtasks / Heading section). Click the chevron to expand a card:
- Status set — which status set governs this scope. Populated live from Status Sets.
- Inherit to subtasks — block scope only. On by default.
- Hide completed — removes tasks whose resolved status is marked completed from the rendered note entirely (not just visually hidden), in whichever view the note is open in.
The trash icon on a card's header removes that assignment (the tasks themselves are untouched — they just stop being governed by it).
Assign a file or block¶
- Type a note path. Type
^after it to pick a block (or create one), or#to pick a heading — see Assignment Scopes. - Pick a status set.
- Assign.
